Delya has had the privilege of living in Cumbria most of her life, and has painted the scenery around that beautiful area for over 25 years.  She has exhibited widely in South Cumbria including Brantwood in Coniston (Home of John Ruskin), Farfield Mill in Sedbergh, and had a long association with Furness Galleries in Ulverston. Tutored by the late A.P. Harris,  she specialised in watercolours for many years, but produces work in other media also. More of Delya's art work can be viewed on the next web page.

In Spring of 2009, after the renovation of Chattan House, Delya and her husband John are planning to provide B&B for Artists and Art lovers in a house with one of the best views in the Artists town of Kirkcudbright. There will be a garden studio that artists can use.
