The house is on a hill overlooking the bay and town of Kirkcudbright and is within 5 minutes walking distance of the town's main streets and eating establishments. There are steps up to the front door to the front balcony where you can enjoy thr views. Also provided is a patio area for sitting out next to the studio and the woodland garden.
A waymarked woodland walk starts from the front of the house.
A garden studio is available by visiting Artists, do check availability.
Directions to Chattan House:- From the A75 take the A711 to Kirkcudbright. On reaching the town go straight through passing the church and museum on your right. On the left is a sign for the Caravan site and the health centre.Turn Left for the camp site and Woodlands
Avenue is third on the right. Go along to the end of the cul-de-sac and we are the last house on the left.
